Facebook is just neater

I don't think I'm entirely biased toward Facebook because I have tried to maintain a Myspace for a few years. Myspace was slower and messier and there was no sense of privacy. It was either show all your information to the world or nothing at all. Facebook has the option of showing a limited profile to strangers and specific friends.

And I do hate how Facebook applications really crowd up profiles. Pictures, faces, shiny things and music everywhere. It's messy and annoying, but you CAN at least hide them. Myspace gives you no such option and is infinitely more gaudy and obnoxious.

Personalization would be nice for Facebook, but I think it's better limited to your own personal viewing of the site. I don't want to see other people's clashing text and background colors and tasteless combinations.
