1st Kiss Wisdom from MSN

I found this on an MSN article by Nina Malkin--makes you wonder if the first one isn't all that it is cracked up to be:

"Old rule: Your first kiss should be a toe-curling experience
New rule: Your first kiss is inconsequential

So essentially make your first kiss a first makeout session.

First One Not in Public

For the first kiss I think that either their house or your own is the best place. However some of these seem to be a little bit extreme, on yours/their bed for the first kiss seems a little much, while others seem like they would be good in theory but just not work out, in the rain/snow, maybe you like being soaking wet and cold but that's not really my style. On the whole PDA thing I have no problem with it in general, so long as your not making loud noises, especially in say a library during final week, but i think that the first one needs to be a tad more secluded if for no other reason then to take the pressure off each other, and allow everyone to truely enjoy the moment.

In the rain, for sure.

What could be more romantic or cinematic than a first kiss in the rain? You're both cold and huddling together for warmth, and everyone else has run inside to find shelter.... Plus its spontaneous. In my opinion, spontaneous kisses are the best kind.
If anything, it would be an unforgettable memory!

PDA- a big no no.

It is a big deal when the first kiss happens, but I don't really think it matters where, as long as it's not in public. And by "in public" i mean in the presence of others. I think that just ruins the moment and all that cutesy nonsense. Personally, it grosses me out when people are doing their cutesy nonsense in front of me. Get a room...or a batcave.

Perfect setting matters

Well if one is such a great kisser it shouldn't really matter cuz the kiss would be ballin anyway lol but there is always that perfect scenario and setting that every person has been imagining or dreaming about for quite awhile. If it comes through exactly as planned then kudos for making that happen. I think the setting would give that extra spark to make it even more special. The first kiss is probably is reallllllly important, can't emphasize it anymore. It tells a lot about the other person and can either hurt or help. A hit or miss for sure, i mean look how important the first kiss is in "Hitch." Lol i love that movie. My perfect setting: In a log cabin on a cold night after a long day in the snow. Bundled in blankets keeping warm near the fireplace. Sippin on some hot chocolate. Cuddling and there that first kiss takes place. Perfect....well atleast for me and since i'm in arizona i dont think that's happening anytime soon lol

oooops... I got my First Kiss in lift :o) That's wonderful begin in love. That means you would get more love not only in private places.

Not saying I'm a fan, but there ARE ways to have your first kiss in a public setting without being gross and all over each other. I won't elaborate, but just saying, its not all in bad taste.

I'm a total fan of alone in a bed or on a couch after a date or particularly good conversation.

Thoughts from the Bat

It just crossed my mind today--a lot of remembrance goes into that first one and location is prime. (Of course, if you're a bad kisser you're screwed no matter where you take her--luckily, Batman doesn't have that problem) I am a fan of the dramatic rain kiss and my bed, but you cannot deny the allure of the Cave.
