Sometimes I do...sometimes I don't...it just depends. If I've got company coming over or something then my bed definitely gets made. It really does make it look better and makes the entire area around it look better as well.

I look at it from a practical standpoint: I am mostly up days, but my girlfriend works nights. There's someone in the bed most of the day, so there's really no reason to make it.

You wake up, go through your day, come back, and it's exactly the way you left it. What's the advantage of making your bed?
Why straighten something out which will become messy again in a very short time?

You don't HAVE to make your bed if you're so crazy busy that your room looks like a hurricane hit it anyways. As long as you make your bed when there are people coming to your house or something, I think it's fine to not really make your bed EVERY DAY.

The only reason I've started "making" my bed (which just involves pulling the covers up to cover the sheets) is because our dog likes to lie on the sheets and I don't like sleeping with bunch of hair. That being said, I usually don't bother to make my bed otherwise. I've never needed to. I started out with the top bunk to a bunkbed, which if you've never had, it's really hard to put sheets on or make it look decent.
I usually try to make my bed now when I know people are going to be in my room for an extended period of time. Since that hasn't happened yet, I'll stick with not letting the dog worm his way into my sheets.

i have time to make my bed if i want to. the problem is, i don't want to. why make my bed when i'll just sleep on it again at night. it's pointless. :D
